ABOUT THE DAM: Saga Skellerød was imported from Denmark into Australia in late 2022 and brings some excellent blood lines into the Australian Fjords. She is out of medal mare Gunild Skellerød (Cadeau Halsnæs) by licensed stallion Tronn Fjording (Trollfin). As a 3yo at the Danish Keuring, she received a 9 overall, and Horse of the Day.
ABOUT THE SIRE: Forever Lloyd (Optimist Halsnæs) was imported inutero in 2016 (from Denmark) and currently competes in dressage (EA Medium & HRCAV Level 1) with plenty of ribbons, and had his first go at working equitation (3PE) in 2024, taking out series champion in the Barwon Southwest 3PE Series. Lloyd perfectly showcases the calm, willing temperament the fjords are known for.

Umber is an incredibly friendly colt (now gelded) who quickly discovered that humans are just as fun as his best pal, Uno. With his curious and playful nature, he’s always eager for interaction and enjoys every moment of learning. Umber is incredibly brave and takes to new things like an old soul.
His basic handling is well underway, and Umber is confidently handled, haltered, led, floating, and stands like a pro for the farrier. His movement is expressive and he has some good ground covering paces and won’t look out of place in the dressage arena.

Tarcombe Vero, colt (to be gelded) is the most people orientated foal we have ever seen, with oodles of braveness and a willingness to please that would not be out of place in an eventer’s herd! Like all our fjords, he’ll take to any discipline thrown at him.
Vero is available upon weaning (once gelded) at around 9-10 months of age. Payment plans are available, however he cannot leave Tarcombe until he’s gelded, weaned and fully paid for.
Vero’s basic handling is about to commence, and we expect that he will be easy to train and very willing – just like his mum Quirindi. He will be halter trained, float trained, and confident with being led, handling and standing for the farrier before he leaves.
