Tycho (pronounced ‘Two-ko’) is an absolute standout colt (now gelded), born to our stunning imported mare, Saga, and despite his late-season arrival, he’s already making a big impression. His inquisitive nature and graceful movement are sure to catch the eye of anyone looking for a future pony dressage star or versatile all-rounder.
He’s already confident with being caught, led, standing calmly for the farrier, and enjoys general handling, showing his readiness to become a willing partner. He’s currently being float trained, ready to go to his new home.
Tycho is available to an approved home where his potential can truly shine. Payment plans are available, however, he must be paid for in full before leaving. Inspections and vet checks are welcome, and his dam is available to view on property. His Sire, Forever Lloyd is well known on the Victorian competition circuit.

ABOUT THE DAM: Saga Skellerød was imported from Denmark into Australia in late 2022 and brings some excellent blood lines into the Australian Fjords. She is out of medal mare Gunild Skellerød (Cadeau Halsnæs) by licensed stallion Tronn Fjording (Trollfin). As a 3yo at the Danish Keuring, she received a 9 overall, and Horse of the Day.
ABOUT THE SIRE: Forever Lloyd (Optimist Halsnæs) was imported inutero in 2016 (from Denmark) and currently competes in dressage (EA Medium & HRCAV Level 1) with plenty of ribbons, and had his first go at working equitation (3PE) in 2024, taking out series champion in the Barwon Southwest 3PE Series. Lloyd perfectly showcases the calm, willing temperament the fjords are known for.

Umber is an incredibly friendly colt who quickly discovered that humans are just as fun as his best pal, Uno. With his curious and playful nature, he’s always eager for interaction and enjoys every moment of learning.
His basic handling is well underway, and Umber is confidently handled, haltered, led, and stands like a pro for the farrier. His movement is expressive and he has some good ground covering paces and won’t look out of place in the dressage arena.
This charming little guy is looking for his perfect match in an approved home. While he’s sure to steal hearts, Umber won’t be leaving Tarcombe until he’s ready—after gelding and weaning at around 9-10 months of age.

Tedi Ber (Welsh for Teddy Bear) was our first foal born at Tarcombe. He’s a very friendly, sweet colt (now gelded) who has a bright future ahead of him. He’s already calm, brave and loves to interact with humans. By 5 months he was already happy to stand for the farrier, load into the float, walk away from his mum, get bodywork etc. He’s now float trained and has been receiving regular professional handling training, preparing him for his future career. A very confident and relaxed guy.
Due to an injury that means he will no longer have a competitive ridden career, Tedi is searching for a perfect match – a non ridden home where his personality will shine. Tedi will excel at equine therapy or similar. If you think this is you, please get in touch.
Tedi will only be going to the perfect home under a lifetime free lease agreement and is welcome back to Tarcombe at any time for any reason.
